← Events · The Events hub covers the weekly recurring cycle; this page is the long arc — what unlocks and shows up when after a server opens. Use it as a lookup whenever you’re unsure what to prepare for next.
Having lived through server 397 from launch into Season 6, I can tell you the schedule runs on two axes: unlocks are gated by HQ level, events are gated by server week. This page is those two axes in table form, and it’s still what I paste whenever an alliance mate asks “what’s coming next?”
One-line principle
Raise HQ to open features, and time your passes, shops, and awakenings to the server week. When those two drift apart, you end up walking into events with nothing stockpiled.
HQ-gated unlocks
Features open by HQ level, not by events. Four milestones matter most.
| HQ | Unlock | Note |
|---|---|---|
| HQ15 | Drone Center | Biggest single power source then (drone guide). Usually ~week 2 |
| HQ17 | (Marathon final goal) | The big reward band of the 7-day marathon (marathon) |
| HQ32 | Capital Capture participation | The core of the SvS capital battle |
| HQ35 | T11 · Awakening prerequisite | Top troop tier & awakening line |
Server-week-gated events
After a server opens, passes, shops, and awakenings rotate by week. Rough arc — it varies by server and patch.
| Week | Shows up | Core |
|---|---|---|
| Wk 1 | New Marathon | New tasks for 5 days, final HQ17 (marathon) |
| Wk 2 | Hero Growth Pass | Featured hero EW/universal shards (packages) |
| ~Wk 6 | Golden Store (Glittering Market) | ~6 days, daily refresh, mythic/legendary blueprints (packages) |
| Wk 6 | Hero Growth Pass (returns) | Second cycle |
| Biweekly | SvS | Prep (Sun–Fri) + capital battle (Sat) (SvS guide) |
A quick timezone aside: I live in Chiang Mai (UTC+7), and event rollovers don’t always land kindly on my daily rhythm. So instead of memorizing weekdays, I trust the “time remaining” counters on the in-game calendar. My routine is two checks — today’s theme over morning coffee, tomorrow’s rollover time before bed. If you play from an offset timezone too, anchoring a routine like that in your own local hours cuts down on missed days more than anything else I’ve tried.
Season 6 awakening schedule (current season)
Season 6’s awakening opens by week. Shards come from the Awakening Trial plus Global Expedition (weeks 2/4/6, free).
| Week | Awakening target | Troop |
|---|---|---|
| Wk 1 | Kimberly | Tank |
| Wk 3 | DVA | Aircraft |
| Wk 5 | Tesla | Missile |
Prereq: 5★ + Exclusive Weapon Lv20 + 50 awakening shards (hero tier list · Tank Class Guide · Awakening Guide).
Running a mono-tank squad, I collected my 50 shards in week 1 and awakened Kimberly first — the difference in her AoE damage is genuinely noticeable. One warning: if you haven’t hit 5★ and EW Lv20 before your awakening week, the shards just sit there. Finish the prerequisites ahead of the week, not during it.
Season transition
Seasons run 60–90 days each. When one ends, the map and some mechanics reset, but your account, heroes, and HQ carry over — first-timers always worry they’re losing everything, and you’re not. Server transfer opens after Season 1 ends (7-day roadmap). And one thing I never skip: right before a season ends, the Black Market offers exclusive-weapon shard choice chests. I literally set an alarm for it every season (shop guide). Preview of next season’s mechanics lives in the season guides.
How to use this timeline
- Never stall HQ — the HQ15/32/35 milestones open content.
- Bank diamonds/coins toward the week-6 Golden Store (mythic blueprints).
- Hit 5★ + EW Lv20 before the awakening weeks (1/3/5).
- Mark biweekly SvS on your calendar and align resources to the battle.
The timeline is per-server, and that changes how you use it
A timeline implies one calendar. Last War does not have one. Season progress, weekly event sets and SvS parity all run on server age, so two servers reading this page are at different points in it — and any specific date copied from another server will be wrong.
What the timeline gives you is the shape: the order things arrive in and roughly how far apart. To convert that shape into dates for your own server, you need its opening date, which is where the server list and the server calendar come in. The list carries confirmed opening dates and day counts; the calendar turns a server number into that server’s weekday schedule and tells you whether this is an SvS week.
Season boundaries themselves are derived from day counts rather than announced — the observed thresholds and how reliable they are is written up in the seasons hub.
One consequence worth internalising
Because personal features are gated by headquarters level while server events are gated by server age, pushing HQ never brings a server event forward. The two clocks are independent. Planning around that is the difference between arriving at an event prepared and arriving at it surprised — and it is the reason a build plan copied from a player on an older server usually mistimes everything.
