Why support is needed
This is not a purely static site. The server tracker runs on a backend API and database that operate every day, accumulating snapshots submitted by the collector. Storage and server costs scale with usage.
Add the domain, plus the indexes and caches that become necessary as the dataset grows, and that is what support covers.
What support does not buy
To be explicit: supporting gives you no in-game advantage. There are no paid-only features, no earlier access to tracker data, and no deeper view of it. Everything on the site and in the collector is identical for everyone, supporter or not.
Nor does support come with data sales. What is here is public in-game information, and it stays public.
Things that help more than money
Honestly, the most useful contribution is not money — it is data.
- Running the collector. Simply opening your server's ranking screens registers that server. Many servers still have no data at all and appear completely empty in the tracker.
- Reporting mistakes. Game updates age the figures and rules recorded here. Point out an error and it gets fixed.
- Suggesting topics. The best subject to write about is something you genuinely wanted to know and could not find anywhere.
