Season 1 servers are the most recently opened in Last War, so their Champion War history is still short — one collected edition, bracket table #584, with sixteen servers running from #2117 to #2132.
One thing needs stating first. Season number and server number run in opposite directions. Season 1 editions draw from the 2100s while season 6 editions draw from servers 69 to 803, because servers age in the order they opened and age determines season. So “Season 1 Champion War” is not a beginners’ bracket — it is a bracket among the newest servers.
What separates scores in this band
Season 1 is where exclusive weapons first unlock: Kimberly (tank) in week 1, DVA (aircraft) in week 3, Tesla (missile) in week 6, one per branch. For Champion War purposes the weapon itself matters less than level 20, the point where the bonus extends to every hero of that branch. Accounts that crossed Lv20 and accounts that did not form a visible step.
Look at any qualifier leaderboard in this band and the top of it is standing on that step. Which cuts the other way too: in the season 1 band, few players have crossed it yet, so investing properly in a single hero can still put you near the top of a group. New servers also mean the gaps between accounts have not opened up, which works in the same direction.
If you want to advance
On older brackets the top of the ladder is usually settled. Here the top-8 qualifier bar is comparatively low, which makes this the most realistic band to compete in if you are starting now. When the draw appears, ignore first place and measure yourself against the players around 8th — that is where advancement is actually decided.
